Rebecca Williams' Career

If I have this calculated right, Rebecca filmed "Reviving Ophelia" (a lead role in a major US cable TV movie--her face is even front and center on the DVD case!) in the summer of 2010, then a guest spot in "Rookie Blue" immediately afterward, in August of that year--her last credited acting work. For "Reviving Ophelia", she was nominated for a Gemini Award (the Canadian Emmy) in August 2011 (which for some reason isn't listed on IMDb yet, but see here: http://geminiawards.tribute.ca/) and then . . . nothing, save an uncredited cameo on the Canadian sketch comedy series "The Rick Mercer Report" early in 2012. Really odd. She's apparently living in Calgary now and no longer acting. Her career ended at the ancient age of 23-24 just after being nominated for her country's highest acting award.
