How do they get pseudoephedrine in TN for their labs??

Seriously, I have to go through a whole process of buying ONE BOX when I'm suffering a cold here in CA- they record your ID, name, address, etc.
I'm aware of "smurfs" thanks to shows like BB, but there still wouldn't be enough of them to procure enough pills to produce that much meth, especially since meth-heads are so paranoid about being caught anyway.

Does TN have no laws against cold sufferers that want simple relief from their symptoms like the rest of the nation?!

Just sayin'...

While I didn't see the TN episode you're talking about, I just watched an episode featuring Portland/Dopelandia the other night and one of the stats said that since the 2004 Pseudo law passed, meth lab busts in America have dropped by a whopping 98%! It seems they all buy their supply from the cartels nowadays.

When there is no more room on IMDB, the trolls will wheel to 4chan.

A couple of months ago there was an idiot in a small town here in Southeast Ohio standing in a drug store parking lot asking people to buy some form of it for him. He was just asking everyone who walked by, which is how he ended up in the newspaper.

The statistic they gave was just for that state not for all of USA

I live in TN and yes we have laws that regulate how we can purchase. If you get a doctor's prescription you can still buy from the pharmacy but that isn't the problem. Over 80% of the meth today comes from Mexico, so laws regulating how much we can buy from the pharmacy won't stop this dangerous drug.

Apparently a lot of pseudoephedrine comes in through China.

This is what I have heard, although I am not an expert. I believe they have a big meth problem in Thailand and they get the pseudo ephedrine from China. It would obviously be more difficult to get it from China to the U.S.

If people can get it from a doctor via prescriptions, they can just find the crooked doctors that don 't care how much they prescribe. There are criminal doctors out there.
