A pleasure to see Anna Maxwell Martin again

I don't know what it's like in Britain, but in the U.S., except for her smallish part in Becoming Jane, I've been missing Anna Maxwell Martin ever since Bleak House 6 years ago. So it's been great seeing her in this, and I must say I was not disappointed.

I thought perhaps she wouldn't be able to shake the association with Esther Summerson, but by George she did!

I also thought she was great in this, as she was in Bleak House. The hotel scenes were so good because of Anna.

She has a pretty significant part in the BBC drama "North and South".

She's great as Kay in Sarah Waters' The Night Watch (and we see more of her that Robert Carne ever did!).
