I was really uppset when they got into the house for the first time and mallory says something to the kids and smacks one in the head kinda violently. I disliked the character inmediatley after that.
Have this happened to anyone else?
Are you asking if someone else has disliked a character after one action or been slapped in the head violently? Yes, to both, but I am generally an even-keeled and non-judgmental person so I can usually see both sides of a situation and/or person.
Notwithstanding that, I have never attended public schools so I was not shocked or surprised that corporal punishment was the tool of the day relative to discipline. I am an adult with my own family now and I STILL won't "talk back" to my parents (or people in their age group) because I would still get the stuff slapped out of me.
