What true story is this supposed to be based on? Living next to Madison County I am curious? Locals joke about Madison being full of inbred hillbillies, but haven't heard this story.
We know a little about a lot of things; just enough to make us dangerous.
Basically, when writer/director/producer was taking pics of locations for the film, a man went a little psycho at him, and later pulled a gun on someone. Matt Mercer's character taking photos and the guy pulling the knife out is the only event that is "based on a true story." A bit disappointing, I know.
