the basic plot of all these shows

Let's face it, how interesting/entertaining (I use those words extremely loosely) would it be if everything went great everyday, there were no crazies, no last-minute emergencies, etc.? Whether they're scrptied or just happen to occure when the cameras are around, well, you can decide that for yourself.

What I don't undrstand, is why the shops agree to be featured. I know it's a lot of free advertising, but it makes them look so unprofessional, I would think it's counterproductive. Also, it grosses me out to see how the cakes are made, I would never order something from them now.
