One thing that really bothered me

I was OK with most of the violent scenes because you could guess something was going to happen (like the cow scene), so you could brace yourself or look away.

I do not appreciate the montage with the fireworks and the goat having her neck sliced open all of a sudden. It was out of the blue!! That was not cool!! No chance to look away and her terrified face is burned into my memory.

Yeah that was a bit sudden, especially placed along with the scream from people on the rollercoaster.

My one complaint is that I would have liked to have known what country each video was filmed in. It would have been a lot of extra text but it would have been interesting to know.

on the dvd they do have a subtitle feature for the country each piece was filmed in. they go by so quickly it distracted me a bit, but definitely a cool extra.

Watch the movie again. You do not see the lambs throat being cut. The editor cut away from it, before the knife cuts the throat. I am sorry to tell you, but it was only your imagination.

reply

hes actually right,i just watched it and you dont see it,nice bit of editing.

reply

Aha wow it's crazy that your brain basically makes up what you think you are seeing even when it's something you don't want to see.

reply

It was sudden, yes. But it was also quite moving.
And for that I appreciate it.

DID YOU NOT READ THE TITLE OF THE MOVIE!? death, violence, misery are ALL part of LIFE, the fact that they didn't show more of it was just so we can leave the film having a positive feeling with most of the scene's depicting life as a beautiful thing.

so to sum it up, STFU and just be grateful there weren't more real "life" moments in the film.

LOL Now be nice!
