Bad and biased documentary

I am surprised by the good rating of the film that is so biased and ideological. This is simply an elegiac treatment of the most silly dimension of Yugoslav cinema: the horribly cliched war film. Without doubt, the film is interesting to watch, it is well cut and never boring. But one gets annoyed by the nostalgia for the studio, its riches and official favoritism. In the end, all the magnificence of Avala studio was largely the regime's fascade, overfunded by Titoist regime to reproduce national-communist myths at the expense of the impoverished population. It is also an embarrasment to all those film legends from Orson Welles and Richard Burton, who participated in this evil mediocrity to prove their progressive credentials. The filmmakers could have addressed these issues more head on, but what we get is rather a hipstery nostalgic treatment of dictatorial cinema.
