1. Gadget and Trudy love affair. I loved her tiny role in the film, "But these come from LLLondon..." (emphasis on the L). But her cool little -yet memorable- role was totally cheapened in TIS 86 by turning her into a trashy cougar slut

shareApparently the actress who plays Trudy is married to the actor Stephen Graham (Combo). Given his high profile and the fact that he was blowing up in both film and tv in the US and UK, it may have been a bit of nepotism. "Yeah, I'll do it but you've got to give my wife a big part with a lot of screen time."
shareTrudy and Flip & co. might have been ridiculous comedy characters, but they provided a few welcome laughs in show that was pretty bleak. Flip is a would-be hardman with an affected voice whom no one takes seriously, not even his own gang. Trudy served her purpose by providing a distraction for Gadget.
