This movie and the characters

This movie had some of the single most unlikable characters I've ever witnessed. I actually ROOTED for the pregnant woman to die. She was a terrible person and an even more terrible mother. Who the h*ll drinks like a booze hound and does E while they are pregnant? She deserved to die. Period. I wish she had too. I wasn't too fond of her husband either. The only characters I ever felt badly for were the poor sister who was treated so badly [before the truth ever came out] and the poor guy who disappeared.

I get it, they were awful for having had sex, but when you're that far gone on drugs and alcohol, your senses aren't really with you. I get why he lied and never told anyone, but he was a stupid POS for even getting into that situation to begin with and I wish he'd been brutally murdered instead.

I hated that bitch of a wife. Even if she had a right to be pissed about her sis and husband, it was still based on a hunch only and considering her sis lost her boyfriend, she had to worry about the big picture at that time. Instead, she was doing harm to her future baby, endangering other people on the road by drinking to excess, and being cruel to her sis and not caring one bit fo what she had to go through. Stupid bitch was smoking when pregnant too. And we had to watch an entire movie with such unlikable AND boring characters.

And why couldn't the stupid husband approach the Australian authorities and ask for witness protection? It's not like he was dealing the drugs. The boyfriend of his sister in law is dead anyway.
