This could possibly be one of the most important films I have ever seen! Wonderful! Absolutely!

Most important? Really?

Jesus Christ, kids have no sense of proportion these days.

The film itself displays the very bizarre sense of proportion (or lack of) that characterizes radical feminism.

Some people obviously don't understand the concept of "one of" (not THE most) ... For the blasé attitude folks have towards rape culture, I'd say that, yes... right now this is one of the most important...

Don't mistake your lack of sympathy as me not having a sense of proportion. You don't know me, my life or the causes I fight for and why... so, don't for a second think you have the authority to tell me what is and isn't important to me.

This, indeed, is a very important film.

The *beep* up thing most about this film is its not too far off on how the world is today. Women can slap men's ass, whistle call, and do all you see in the fil. However, unlike women who only respond to these signals to guys they find attractive, most men have thicker skin and appreciate the jester and move on. Yet, even in some cases when a man tries to push off a woman's advances (E.g. Tim Mcgraw) he is labelled by the rest of the society as a villian. So while in this case the women use physically force when the man did not appreciate their advances, in our world (since women are vastly inferior physically to men) they use shame tactics, and peer pressure.

Another thing about this film is the idea of rape being laughed at by women, but taken seriously by men. Quite the contrary. Men who go to the police station claiming to be raped by a woman are not taken seriously. While you can bet your bottom dollar a woman can claim rape (even if she is lying) and people will take her seriously and pass sentence on the opposing party. Especially if it is a man.

But aren't there also at least some examples in life where men are NOT more physically stronger than women EITHER?

I mean, I know its fiction but look at the two "Kill Bill" movies for one, how does a woman, however strong, manage to take on over a hundred men in hand to hand combat and martial arts and come out victoriously?

And don't men at times, against women or other men, ALSO use "shame tactics" (whatever that means) and peer pressure, and is there really no way around it?

What if a man happened to be tough and was able to RISE above it, how would they succeed then? Maybe the man in question ISN'T even aware of all that stuff here and decides he wouldn't let a woman like that take advantage of him?

(I've known and heard some of these tough guys in my life - in theory at least, they have no fear and all that "much awareness of modern-day mental consequences.)

Also, I don't mean to pressure anyone but...

In real life, unlike in fiction, are "good" and "evil" distinctions overall ever simple or are they often complex?

Because with what I see being often discussed including here, it seems the latter.

How do you cure an ill SOCIETY? Just accept it and move on - unless it poses a REAL threat to you?

Because why then do we have otherwise ordinary people who either DON'T see rape as a big deal or have mixed beliefs about it, and are they not even remotely ashamed or afraid of continuing to have them, especially in this day and age of internet? Do they not worry about being labelled as bad people or is ignorance overall, unfortunately, a very powerful tool?

And is the absolute ONLY reason men don't fight back against women who try it against them is because they are aware that they will get looked down upon even though all they're doing is fighting for their rights?

Personally speaking, reading and finding out all this truth depresses me. Not least because - in my days of studying at school and living with parents, without the heavy use of internet, people almost NEVER talked to us about it.

You really can't help but ask the following question - in an every day normal world of normal folks like you and me, who are the good guys and who are the bad guys, and what must be done when the distinctions get mixed or blurred? I know life is not an action movie but...

Bloody hell, life makes NO SENSE.

The greatest trick the Devil has ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist!
