shareUnfortunately, Martie Walker's review was displayed up top, which is what I read before viewing the movie. Well after the movie, it was apparent to me that the subsequent reviews were more accurate in their analysis of the movie. I admit that I read way too much into Martie's note that this movie was inspired by Grindhouse. So to answer your question, Yes, the movie was not even a resemblance of what I had expected. I found the entire movie inexcusable. However, I did find that the opening and closing credits to be more than adequate and for that I gave it a lone star.

when Michael and Jennifer kept emphasizing that it was an exploitation flick, i kinda knew what to expect. sure enough they werent lying. it was just as Michael kept saying over the past 2 years. its got sex, drugs, and dirty cops. which was really all he could incorporate with having little to no budget. what he wanted was zombies or something really gorey.
i wasnt dissapointed in the slightest. i can understand the limitations of having almost no money and the people working on the production being only close friends and such. kinda like the stuff youd see on youtube or vimeo. all homemade stuff.
what exactly were you wanting to see? thought the trailers gave it all away.
