"The Punch" is it a place?

It is a location.

It's one of three shipping container docks mentioned in the film. They drive into it late on in the film and there is a sign reading 'Welcome to the Punch'.

I see that a review mentioned that there was a big PR budget for this film - so far slipped under my radar in GCHQ land Gloucestershire. They might have spent a few bob thinking up a half-way decent title, that might even be half-way understood out in the sticks.

In my neck of the woods (East Midlands) in the weeks running up to it's release in 2013, there were posters for this film on every phone box and most bus shelters. Plus I remember the brief teaser trailer frequently being shown on TV.

I can't remember seeing any advertising for this film or the trailer
I have yet to watch this (recorded it on channel 4 way back last november)
