Dark + tension packed? Yes please! (Loved it)

If you like that stuff, you'll like this movie too.
After reading the posts from other people saying how bad this movie is, I decided to watch for myself and I'm glad I did. I loved it. I loved the suspense, the fear, the realistic and brutal nature of the subject. I have been searching for movies like this, by which, I mean movies that are generally depressing and have a bad ending for all characters. I felt hopeless and scared along with them which gave cudos to their acting. I understood the presence of the detective which gave everyone a brief glimpse of hope only to have it ripped away quicker than it came. The ending felt slightly disjointed and incomplete. It sounds macabre but I would have liked to see more in-depth interrogation techniques and it's likely results. Sometimes I don't want to have to rely on my imagination. There was room for improvement but overall, something to be proud of. Obviously it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea and haters will always be hatin' (sorry), but I PERSONALLY loved it.
Seeing Mando as Kahlid was the highlight for me and I have a new fave actor. Cheers.
