Last 20 minutes ruined it

what a let down! The first hour was great, then it nosedived.

reply

I have to agree. Makes me wish I never watched it.

reply

I also agree, just finished watching it and they really stuffed it up towards the end. What a shame.

reply

Couldn't agree more - that last section was just tacked on a) to make it feature length, and b) because they couldn't think of a way to end it. I enjoyed it until the PI entered the story. Rubbish.

reply

Just saw it and also agree, there was no point to the P.I and its not really clear about the kids, terrible ending.

reply

I disagree. It took a turn for the worse after the first half hour, the whole torture/interrogation thing didn't work. The P.I would have worked better if they had him enter the story earlier because character development that late on in a film is too late. However, I liked him, his role and the ending (especially the eeriness to it).

reply

I agree this nosedived into becoming a huge disappointment. Loved the first 20 minutes, still had high hopes approaching the hour but these were dashed by the last section. Pity.

reply

Completely agree.
I extremely rarely post here though I am on IMDB almost every day.
I had to post to say that I wanted to give this a 7 for a really good suspenseful buildup. Then came the middle which seemed like it was directed by someone else and got tedious, and the last 3rd was a wreck - almost like I was watching a VHS tape and someone recorded another movie ending on top of it.

4/10

just watch till it rains and then consider the movie over

what i hated was the *beep* ending. it's was like sequel baiting and yet it wasn't
