Shown at the recent Dublin Int'l Film Festival and I have to say it was one of the best films I saw there.
Lots of stylish action and fight scenes that takes place mostly in a niteclub. Similar to The Raid in that it's a kick ass film set in one location, and while The Raid is getting all the praise keep an eye out for Sleepless Night!

Saw it there as well and really enjoyed it.

Well, yeah, it's similar to The Raid due to being set in only one location, but that's it. Let's not fool people who haven't watched it. They're very different movies. The Raid is non-stop gun fight/martial arts action packed, while Sleepless Night is more thriller based with lots of tension scenes and few, but very well done action scenes.

I loved both movies and I don't think they're comparable.

I know what you mean. Before I watched Sleepless Night this evening, I saw people comparing it to Hard Boiled and The Raid. I was like, damn, get ready for nonstop action! In reality, it's a good thriller but there's literally only one fight scene in the entire movie. Oh well, at least it was a good fight scene (in the kitchen).

The French, surprisingly, know how to do action and thrillers very well. Sleepless Night is very stylish and I like movies that are close to being told 'in real time.'

If you like french thriller, I recommend you Point Blank, Switch and 22 Bullets.
