Riveting Rubbish

Other people involved in the story all seem to have names from Beatle songs (Maxwell, Rita ...) ; that's when I became suspicious, especially when they say Rubber Soul (released in 1965) was released after the 'accident' (in 1966).
I'm sure this is meant to be a mockumentary, but it takes itself way too seriously and as a result it just doesn't work.
Some interesting Beatle footage I hadn't seen before, but best to leave this sort of thing to the Rutles ....
