The father/daughter Lantern story was the biggest pile of Mary Sue crap

What a pathetic Mary Sue story.

She defeats her father's second wife.
Defeats her brother.
Defeats her father, giving him a holier-than-thou lecture.
And gets to be the ruler.

I mean, this is like some spoiled, entitlement-princess self-aggrandizement.

For Pete's sake, even Disney heroines have to go through more difficulties than this girl did. She just got whatever she wanted and never lost a fight. Talk about a way to make a character unsympathetic.

The worst episode of an altogether disappointing DVD.

How can you not have sympathy for a woman who tries to do her duty, and goes home only for her entire family to try and kill her? She still loves her father, which probably makes it harder for her to face him. You should be happy she didn't lose a fight. She probably would have been killed otherwise.
