Frank Hvam vs. Larry David.....

I am a fan of both series and I agree with those who say Klown (the series) occasionally feels like a "Curb" rip-off. However, I think the character of Frank is sweeter and more naive than Larry David's, which gives it a little bit of a different dynamic.

I also think that "Klown" seems to take the subject of sex and dysfunction a little further, and to sicker levels. It seems to take more chances, which could be more due to the less uptight view towards sex in Europe.

All in all, both very solid series.

I agree, I really like both shows and although there are lots of elements taken from Curb and used in Klovn, Klovn it isn't a direct copy. Curb is one of my all-time favourite shows but I really enjoy Klovn and the Klovn movie is one of the best feature length comedies I have seen.

I need to see the Klovn movie....will have to just buy it online at some point.
