for the kids?

i was scarred by the penguin movie where it showed the little dead frozen baby, so the question would be,, do any of the babies die, or graphic eating scenes.. i know these things are part of nature, but not for my 4 and 6 yr olds. i am very excited to take them though, just wanted to know more about it first

they mention that 'all of them to not make it' but there is no visuals of dead animal babies.

There is a shot of a baby elephant standing over his dead mother, but it is very quick and not a close up.

I took a 4 year old who liked it. It was her first experience with 3D so that was what she remembered ("I tried to touch it!"). And the monkeys taking a bath which is cute and funny. I don't think she got the whole idea of them being rescued and raised by humans and then being let go back into the wild, but she enjoyed it.

I just went with my son's 2nd and 3rd graders, and we all loved it! Definitely family friendly, and an excellent film.

we did go see it and it was great! it wasnt to heavy or long for young ones. i think the 40 min mark was perfect for the attention spans. i asked my kids what their favorite part was and my 6 yr old said " when the baby elephants played in the dirt" (very cool in 3d) and my 4 year old said " i like the candy" so maybe he didnt get as much from it. lol.
but it was definitly ok for the much younger audience. awesome movie, stunning landscapes. and that too-cute "when i get older i will be stronger" song
awww. warm fuzzy factor for sure

I went to see it with my four siblings aged 5, 7 and 9. They absolutely adored the film, and although we saw it when it was released, they still talk about it.
We've all seen a heap of IMAX films, but this was their favourite.

Fantastic for the kids.

Funny, cute little orangutans and little elephants.

Really, no violence, no shock imagery, just pure happiness and fun.
