What was the thrilling part? We all know who "did it".
Too me everything after the fall felt like one long wait, filled with an overuse of "The Ring"-scare tactics that aren't really scary at all. After the wait is over, it just goes ballistics with the gore and then all of a sudden it's the end.

I didn't get the hoopla with this film either. No twists, nothing. Just gore.
The lead actress did well, but the rest of the people were like bad cartoon characters.
A waste of time watching this, in my opinion.

It's no Roman Polanski movie, but it does have redeeming quality in its grungy noir. Alyce is sexy in her own skeezy way. I thought the gore was well done for the low budget and I enjoyed rooting for Alyce when she takes her revenge! I recommend it as a fun splatter movie you can follow when you're blotto, and it won't haunt you in the dark.
