'Stars' characters less interesting than 'co-stars' characters

Obviously the movie poster shows all the A list celebs to garner as much interest as possible, but their characters were of no interest to me. It was Anna, Mirka, the dentist, Valentina and Sergei who kept me enthralled. Especially the dentist and Valentina.
