'GoldenEye 007: Reloaded' on the PS3 + X-Box,
-Valentin Zukovsky: "James Bond, now tell me why I shouldn't call in my men & use your nice tuxedo for target practice?"
-James Bond: "You could, but why waste bullets when you have an E.M.P. weapon?"
FIRST OFF, I am a huge 007 gamer & I just finished the "GoldenEye 007: Reloaded" (2011) game on PS3, enhanced w/ the PS3 motion-sensor Move & game play!
The game received mostly rave, positive reviews by all game critics overall. I love how the current game affectionately references homages to the original Nintendo 64 version, back from 1997.
Actually having Daniel Craig, Judi Dench & Rory Kinnear (as M:I-6's Bill Tanner) voice the characters helps the authenticity of the game, A LOT.
I know all of the aforementioned actors (& actress) previously lent their voices & services to "BloodStone 007" (2010) & "Quantum of Solace" (2008), but "GoldenEye 007: Reloaded" easily blows both of the former out of the water. The PS3 & X-Box edition is also superior than its Nintendo: Wii equivalent from one year prior.
On a more serious & different note, it's an interesting to think of arguably the best Pierce Brosnan 007 entry re-imagined w/ Daniel Craig in the title role instead. It's interesting to the see the film's similar situations drastically changed by the styles & interpretations between the two actors.
Imagine how "Tomorrow Never Dies" (1997), "The World Is Not Enough" (1999) & "Die Another Day" (2002) would have been, had Daniel Craig instead been in the title role?
Or on another hypothetical note, imagine if Sony & MGM remade "GoldenEye" also as a motion picture film in 2010? Instead of the four-year gap between "Quantum of Solace" (2008) & "Skyfall" (2012)?
