Enjoyed the movie, but..

But seriously, these emperor's "finest" employ the combat skills and tactics of Pakistani army.

I especially found the scene with them fighting against the horde of Chaos Space Marines standing out in open (there were rocks near them to take cover behind, btw, but nope.. lets go out in the open) shooting at Chaos Marines.. who were also shooting at them but only managed to kill like 2 Ultra's..

The only reason these "finest" survived is because the director wanted them to. I would've actually been more impressed if these marines would've taken cover, spread out and used environment to take on the enemies.


ALSO, they really should stop focusing on areas where their CGI is crap. For example, so many shot with them focusing on faces which were *beep* ugly terrible with bad normal mapping that made every character look evil. They were trying to show expressions.. without actually animating any of it.

But anyways, I still enjoyed the action and movie was fun to watch (I am not Warhammer fan myself, still have to read some books).



PS: Oh and I lost track of who was the protagonist half-way through since all marines looked pretty much the same. Only some were identifiable because of different armor with their helmets off (because of armor) but others? Hell, at the end I only realized it's the protagonist demon was fighting against when the demon called his name.
