I recently saw this movie online... What a surprise!!!
I've seen Nicole in Shame, Sins of a Mother (with Jill Scott), and American Violet. I hope to seen her more, I think she is a very good actress.
The German guy was actually very touching. He made me believe in love at first sight.
I hope more people get to see it. Go Nicole!!!

I just finished watching it online. And I really enjoyed the movie. Nicole is a wonderful singer. I hope to see them both in more movies.

tom mison i've seen in parade's end and nicole i had seen her in shame but she wasnt the focus of that movie as the lead fassbender was a sick character in a sick relationship with his sister
someone mentioned this so i decided to check it out
its a lovley movie , and i'm amazed at the beautiful voice nicole has , she could sing if she wanted too
the german guy was very cute and it was def different from most rom-com , i even enjoyed the father and the latina woman romance !

I liked the movie... I thought it was ok, but it could have been great. The potential was there for a really touching, emotional, and passionate film. Niklas and Leticia should have toured the city a la Before Sunrise. They should have visited a lot of places and discussed everything under the sun from business and politics to love and marriage. The chemistry was there... Nicole Beharie is beautiful (especially in the last scene) and Ken Duken is very handsome. They really needed better dialogue... a better build-up to them falling in love.

I don't like the ending. In typical Hollywood fashion, the woman says no, the man goes but comes back to her and she falls in love with him in the end. In real life, in the last scene at the club, she would have hollered at him to get out!!
