A way to survive permanent solar flares. Also it would be possible to live in the cold zone if you had enough fuel to heat things up, like oil. As well as living in underground bases where heat is due to earth core temperature and it would be immune to outside attacks. yes its a whole lots difference, but humanity will survive.
