What is Nelson refering to when he says 'Eric Stoltz'?

In the last episode, when talking about replacing Will Mellor as Nelson, he says 'Eric Stoltz, I don't mind stepping in to replace someone at the last minute'. What film is he refering to?

And now, to ride Mrs O'Reilly!

I haven't seen season 2 yet... but perhaps this has something to do with it??

Only thing I know about that guy is Michael J Fox was first WANTED to play Marty in Back to the Future. But he couldn't do it due to his schedule with Family Ties and Teen Wolf.

Robert Zemeckis starting filming BTTF with Eric Stoltz as Marty. But Robert was not happy with his performance and told Stoltz to make like a tree and F off.

They finally got to cast Michael J Fox to play Marty as they originally wanted and Stoltz was out of the picture.
