As Comic Book Guy Would Say...
I'm not usually a negative person, but this is honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Terrible, simplistic, and even worse, lazy writing, which is surprising because the woman who wrote the teleplay has Lost and 24 to her credit. Characters are one dimensional, dialog is generic, and don't get me started on the depiction of the science, laboratories, and security. It's so bad I even started noticing the lack of creativity from the prop department. Have they ever seen an actual lab?
The movie was directed by Douglas Barr. The last I saw of him he was Lee Majors' cousin in The Fall Guy.
The saddest thing is the waste of LeVar Burton.
And genuine apologies to those of you enjoying it. Nothing wrong with guilty pleasures and whatever trips your trigger and all that. Heck, I'm still watching it. I've only walked out of one movie in my entire life, so I'll see it through 'til the end.
