NBC Please don't pick this up!

It's just so bad.

reply

I don't think there's much chance of it becoming a series anyway.

reply

Ugh, I got about 12 minutes in and there was this ridiculous and unnecessary infodump regarding nanobots...it's just so manipulative and dumb.

reply

Why was it unnecessary? We have to remember that this movie wasn't just geared to adults. It was also geared to kids.

reply

Yes, the pilot is boring with a capital "B". But, it was nice to see Levar Burton again, but, weird seeing him with normal eyes.

reply

The end wasn't boring. It was suspenseful. Also, it wasn't boring for a family movie. I think a lot of people were expecting something that was PG-13 an up. This was a family movie, and PG-13 and up would not be considered appropriate for a family movie.

reply

I have no problem with family films, but that doesn't mean, writing, acting, character developement, and direction should be thrown out the window. Dude, I mean Brody.

Still the movie was geared towards the whole family. I saw one poster who said that his or her eight-year-old liked it.

Also, not every child is in bed early on Friday night. They may not be in bed early on other nights, either. Maybe there should be more shows for kids that airs after 7C / 8E. Also, I'm and adult and I would like cleaner entertainment, anyway.

Yes, I have known some shows geared towards kids that aired after 8E. It's been a while. There were shows that aired on Friday nights and introduced the Saturday morning line-up. I remember watching this as a child. Also, Disney used to air family movies all of the time. In the past, many shows were more family oriented. I'm not saying they all were, but there were some.

If I didn't know any better, I'd swear that you are a shill for Wal-Mart and P&G yourself. Are you?

reply

Sponsored by Walmart it was probably made in China it sucked so bad.

reply

I agree that it's bad. I thought the acting was universally atrocious, and the script was worse, and why did they have to make Kellie Martin look so unattractive?
