His accent in this movie makes me not want to see it.

Well, he was playing an african arms dealer sort of character. Was he to be speaking Oxford English?

The OP clearly meant Ving's skill at the accent as an actor, not the way the character would talk.
And, yes, his non-specified "French African" accent was atrocious.

I believe he actually ate his voice coach for the movie.
