Interesting series. From Episode 2 you start to connect to the main characters and feel for them. They are all so sad in their miserable lives, and Thailand gives them a chance for redemption, though none of them seem to be making the most of the situation.

Well, well, well ... now I see that there is a Series 2. I won't watch it, simply because I can't pardon the huge insult they spat at the intelligence of the audience in the finale of Series 1. However, I also see that somehow, miraculously, Majlis did not die (since she appears in every episode of Series 2 -- unless she is a ghost? :-) -- and that reduces the believability level of this entire endeavour to zero.

I really enjoyed Season 1 and you get very involved with the characters and I literally felt like I was in Thailand. It creates a great atmosphere. The problem for me is Season 2. I feel like I am forcing myself to continue watching it at this point because I keep thinking it'll get better. I feel like Season 2 kind of lost the magic and the tension doesn't seem to be there at all. The only characters that I still love are Glenn and Oh. I liked Joy a lot last season but she has turned into a spoiled brat and I miss her old boyfriend. Not sure if there were new writers or they just ran out of ideas but at least the first season was really good.
