when you have DOZENS of sites all reporting the exact same thing, When Presales, Social Media numbers are Literally RECORD breaking, higher than Civil War and BvS, and they all report Black Panther is tracking at at least 170 M and then you predict the very day BP comes out a 120 M OW....the only possible explanation for a prediction that delusional is, You didnt understand the box office,tracking and data.
it happened With The Last Jedi, You were off by 71 Million dollars on its OW, it happened With Justice League, you were off by 56 Million on its opening weekend, now you predict 85 M for RPO When at least a half dozen websites all reported the exact same tracking and data that RPO is tracking between 40 to 50 M.

Its having a decent opening, Right in line with projections and right in line with My Prediction(but not even close to your prediction)
next, Word of mouth seem to be good but NOT Great, Reviews are good but NOT Great, This wont lead to the excellent holds your hoping for...
at this point I think RPO is going to have average holds, around 50% drops, resulting in a domestic total around 140 to 160 Million...
Overseas, Its looking at a 250 to 300 Million dollar gross.
RPO may make around 450 to 500 M WW....its a decent result, but given its Budget and Marketing, that will only result in the film breaking even or maybe making a small profit.
I'm curious to see the Cinemascore tomorrow, again right now everything points to RPO just being good but not Great and WOM being good but not Overwhelming....I expect its cinemascore to either be An "A-" or Maybe an "A"
If by some chance RPO gets An "A+"...I will immediately admit, I'm gonna be OFF and box office will be better than I'm predicting. If RPO gets an Great Cinemascore that Will suggest audiences are loving in more than critics and Will certainly result in great holds...
