C'mon everyone? A 5.2?

This turd deserves nothing more than a 2.2.

I don't get it. How come 'black' sitcoms are not as good today as they were in the 80's & 90's?

Because there is a shortage of writing/producing talent in Hollywood these days. It's much harder to get in as either of the two today compared to 14, 15 years ago. And the Norman Lear era was much easier. So, you're stuck with lazy hack writers, mostly of the Caucasian persuasion, who knows nothing about black people. They don't even know how to write comedy these days. And the ones who can are probably scrambling right now, trying to get into the Hollywood gates to start working.

There's also a shortage of comedic actors as well. Gone are the days of Bill Cosby and Sherman Hemsley. Hollywood are recycling the same talents -- writers, actors, directors, producers -- they have been shoving down our throats for the past 10-12 years.

When people say this is a great time for film/TV, they don't have a clue. You can have all the technology and Sundance awards you want. They're not going to let you in until you're proven at the box office.
