How is this show still on?

I'm really not trying to hate on the show, I support shows black shows as I myself am black. But let's face it, this show is dry.

The only reason I watch this show is because of my small crush I have on Nadine Ellis. Joyful Drake and Erica Hubbard are also good eye candy. But besides that, this show is about as sterile as a reality show filming a picnic.

My suggestion for the show would be to perhaps increase drama. I give them credit for the attempt with the Troy/Tasha and Darcanian trying to hide his homosexuality drama, but it still wasn't enough. If they don't want to go the drama route, at least bring in an anchor funny man to kind of liven up the show a little. Some examples of this is how Steve Urkel was brought on to Family Matters and everyone got a kick out of his clumsiness, although that got old after a while.

Please don't think I'm trying to bring in a Steve Urkel, I was just using that as an example. But a seasoned comedian who can turn the situations of that show and make them humorous would help out a lot. Becasuse of right now, I believe that the only thing that's carrying this show, is it's position of airtime following The Game. If it weren't for The Game and all the remaining watchers from the hype from that show, this show would not have survived.

I'm not wanting to see this show get cancelled and these actors/tresses be out of their jobs, I just want to see the show get better. Right now, The Game is this show's lifeline.

BET is the one to blame for not promoting this show. I actually enjoyed this the 1st couple of seasons, then it became dry, boring. If you notice there weren't any promos for this for their season 4. It's like a backup show for The Game to fill in that 30 minute spot.

I don't want to see this show cancelled either but if this keeps up there won't be any other choice. This show can use better writers and storylines and more promotion from the network but it seems that BET doesn't give a damn about this show.

When life gives you lemons, make apple juice and let the world figure out how you did it!

This is a great show but sadly it stands in direct contrast to The Game. The Game is a hotbed of relationship + baby mama drama while LST is centered on strong marriages, happiness, love, friendship, etc. LST is "wired" to BET and that's why they haven't given it as much promotion.

It's very unfortunate.

Something about this show screams 'WB/UPN sitcom from 2000'. Maybe because it reminds me of For Your Love. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to ensure that this show exsits today in 2014. It's kind of like a cool down from all the drama previously seen on the game.

The show has been cancelled.

I guess they didn't announce it since no one was watching.

Of course no one was watching. Who wants to see anything positive on tv anymore?
