Should have ended with them putting her in the police car. Yes, people would have complained about the unresolved ending, but we wouldn't have had to deal with all that bad acting in the police station, where acting is actually important. It doesn't take much skill to run screaming around a cornfield at night.
shareI felt that the movie actually took a thriller-esque turn once the cut-and-dry slasher aspect was over and done with. The film didn't break any new ground really, but I feel like I would have enjoyed this far less if they had ended with her being picked up by the authorities. That's like the ending to most slasher films, so I appreciated that they tried to do something different.
