Will we ever get a Metro 2033 movie??

Two years after you posted this there still isn't a movie. And I doubt that there will ever be one...:(
It's a shame. I want a Metro movie myself, it is such an amazing book!

There is a film on the way, according to the instructions manual coming with Metro 2033 part 2 on Xbox 360... MGM is even named as the major behind the project but no director, actors or composer have been announced yet.
