This guy is REALLY impressing me. After seeing Midnight Special I've been on a bit of kick through his filmography. Watched Mud the other night and now this one tonight.

All of his films seem to have a real humanity to them. They're so well constructed around the characters themselves. Many might call the pace slow, but I've absolutely adored them. Just really easy films to get lost in.

I'm really excited about Jeff's films for the future now. He's got a real knack for a being a storyteller. I'd love to see him find some bigger budgets to work with from studios with he balls to make REAL films.

Outstanding pperformances by his casts have helped tremendously. I agree. He deserves as much or more attention than some bigger-named writers/directors.
