Liam Neeson + Rosanna Arquette on the poster?

What a terrible poster, so airbrushed that it doesn't even look like the actors in the film. Keep in mind, these are faces that the audience is familiar with. I know what Nic Cage and Nicole Kidman look like. I have been watching movies with them in it since the late 1980's. This poster doesn't look like those actors are pictured...rather, photo shopped in.

IDK, Nic actually does look that dreadfull (plus, Liam is hot), but Nicole... Rosanna Arquette is the right lookalike. I mean, what did they do to her eyes, they're gigantic!

What's this? A Ranger, caught off his guard?

reply

Thanks for saying this!

When I first saw the poster without knowing the cast, I thought ZACH BRAFF was the leading role. Seriously!

you're right, very badly done

Black, white, green, red...

Dreadful! Just dreadful! Nicole looks like the Bride of Chucky doll there.

In Kidman's case, it's nice to see her lately immovable forehead participating in her performance - Rabbit Hole Review, Variety.

The poster look weird because they this official still: http://www.imdb.com/rg/photos-title/still_frame-1/media/rm178306048/tt 1674784, and you can see how Kidman's is looking away, so they digital showed us face, and because she looks digital they had to give Cage also that look. It's pretty ridiculous.

reply

Cage looks like Christopher Walken! It is more like an artist's impression than a photographic poster. This trend for manipulated posters is really bad and undermines movies rather than enhance them (check out De Niro on the last Fockers movie - it looks nothing like him).

Bela Lugosi's dead.

Worst 'shop job for a movie poster I have seen in a while.Looks like 10 minutes was spent on it.
So cheaply done one can only imagine the marketers of this film are looking to sabotage the careers of these actors.
If they won't spend the money marketing the movie one can only assume the film is crap too.

reply

Oh, please don't insult Liam Neeson! That was just mean!
