budget?
its like they blew their entire budget on getting nick cage and nicole kidman and then hired a bunch of awful unbelievable actors to be the villains. what a terrible boring movie that got more ridiculous and contrived as time went on.
shareI think it was gamble.Kidman needs hit so she did it because Cage was in it.
Cage did it because he'll do pretty much any sh/t that's offered to him.
It looks like they were hoping for a hit based purely on their 'star power' but it backfired badly.
Given the budget I'm pretty sure they took a minimum upfront salary aplus a percentage of the profits.
This movie tanked so badly looks like they'll have to return their salaries.
