what a load of dodo

Are we supposed to believe a bloke who has spent 1000s on the security he has in the house, lets a person in by the look of his uniform. Do film producers think we are all thick. its unbelievable and total BS

He would have made sure he saw the badges and got their names, then phoned up the Police station to see if they were real, then asked at the Police station why they are there to see him.

And as for the security firm, god help us if a security firm that bad actually exists.
So thats see the alarm goes off, but its ok if they speak to someone and hear the password, so what about being held by force and forced to say the password.

I would hope the security firm would not even phone up, they would just send someone straight away.

Kidman must be broke, and we all know that Cage will any old poo to get a few bucks

a disgrace to a persons IQ that film. i would give it minus 5

shocking

Ditto!

Agreed...people that rich would have been a lot smarter than allowing some fake sounding cops with a fake sounding weak excuse into their house.

And why wouldnt he just hand the diamonds/cash/anything over? Instead he says some crap about working with them and cutting the diamonds and he'll get insurance money for them. Why not give them what they want, stop having guns pointed at your family, and have an actual legitimate insurance claim where the same uncut diamonds would eventually surface. Makes no sense

reply

Because after he hands over the diamonds/cash there is nothing to stop the intruders from killing them. I think Kyle (Cage) makes that point somewhere along the way.
