The movie was OK at best. The story has been done so many times before and I´m not sure if it was the script, acting or directing that did not do it for me.
The cheesy flashbacks gave the feeling of a made for TV movie.
Nicole´s once lovely face looks too plastic now and she has that trout pout.
Very unflattering.

Find a few films Kidman did at the start of her career. Now there's a beauty! A category outside the general, 'perfect' realm. Now she's just looking generally 'perfect' as botox can offer perfection. Nothing to write home about.
i also think she was incredibly beautiful when she was younger (to me, "perfect" looking.) I just don't see that she changed much at all. Since people keep saying she did, I wonder if I am missing something - can't say I saw many of her recent movies. But if this one is a good example, I thought she looked fantastic and still very much like her old self.

shareOr in 'Bangkok Hilton'. A viewing experience I cannot forget. Not just for a Nicole Kidman taking her role very seriously, but also for the story, the cinematography, and the performances of many other fine actors, which are all way beyond the ordinary made-for-tv-movie.
Definitely some work done on her face. She doesn't look like the real Nicole Kidman anymore, like a clone or a Stepford wife maybe.
