I find it kinda bothering when the heavy guys escort a customer out of the building. Over here in the UK we'd have the thought police and probably a few oddball EU idiots proclaiming breach of human rights for a big guy daring to touch female flesh.

I see your point. By the time they're escorting them out, they're out of control so I guess that's why it doesn't bother me as much.
If they're acting like fools, getting loud and threatening, they need to be escorted out. I've seen the security guards back off when someone says I'll walk out on my own and do exactly that.
If they then turn around or try to run by the guard, he'll physically put them out. I wouldn't mind female security guard though.
The show is very scripted so to me it's like situation comedy, I guess that's why it doesn't bother me. The show is purely for entertainment, IMO.
You realize it's slightly embellished reenactments of things that actually happened when the cameras weren't rolling.

I don't think people would take them seriously. I seen female security guards in my area, mostly libraries, and they try to be "one of the guys" and it's awkward, like they're focusing on the "image" of it all rather than doing anything security-related. and there's another lady security guard with super-thick glasses that walks the halls like freakin' john wayne, and even displays her "crotch" (when there's nothing there!!)!
