I doubt Bravo will ever bring them back but...my .02...

I actually didn't really enjoy the show when it first aired. But just like every other HW franchise, once Bravo puts them on repeat everyday, you start to kind of enjoy them a little more everyday.

Once I heard it was cancelled I felt it was due to the Salahi's. I'm sure Bravo wanted Michale and Tareq on the show but the other women didn't want to return with her on the show. Which is understandable. And after re-watching the show two weeks ago when Bravo ran an unprecedented marathon of the DC wives...I know, UNPRECEDENTED!!, it made me miss these ladies even more.

I think maybe DC had an issue with Bravo filming in their city and maybe putting DC in a bad light with the whole "White House Crashing" scandel. But, it is what it is. I don't think we'll ever really know the answer. And I know there are people out there who didn't really care to watch the show or for whatever reason they disliked this franchise the most, I feel like they got the shaft. Miami is even returning with some new women and they only had 6 episodes and a Reunion on Watch What Happens Live. RHODC had a two night reunion special and 9 episodes, 11 in total.

I feel like they need to bring DC back bc I really liked the setting, the political views, the debates, the old money some of these women had, and the new money. It was just much more sophisticated than Jersey and even Beverly Hills. I've been to DC numerous times and a few years ago I went for a few days on a whim with my partner and I found it absolutely gorgeous and fun and just "rich" with not only money but education. When you're a kid and forced to go to the Lincoln Memorial, it might not necessarily be all that fun, but as you get older, it becomes sort of special and a lot more interesting.

I feel that Bravo should contact these women, especially with the election coming up and all the politics going on right now at this moment, it would be great tv. I find some of the things Bravo puts on their network that they like to call enteraining, (Mad Fashion/Fashion Finders/Pregnant In Heels(which is coming back, btw :( / That Dallas show about singles or whatever) it's just boring to me. I find the RHWO...franchises to be something that I look forward to. I think Bravo should really just give them a second chance.

I was actually on Youtube looking up press the women did before the show aired, and watching them on the View, the Today Show and the Today Show w/Kathie Lee and Hoda, the interviews always tended to sway towards the Salahi's. I felt the other women never really spoke and it didn't seem fair that the show was about 5 women and not just one and her weird husband. You can even tell watching the clips how annoyed Lynda, Mary, Cat and Stacie seem bc they never really get to speak. Michale is the only one doing the talking and she does a lot of bashing towards the other women, right in front of them.

Anyway, I doubt anyone will read this since the show is cancelled, but after Bravo ran that marathon, I felt strongly about it and wanted to maybe get my messsage across. I actually tweeted Lynda, Mary and Cat throughout the day and got a lot of responses from the ladies and fans to bring them back.

So, who knows. Maybe they will. I think it would be a smart choice. DC is a great town and a great setting. They were dumb to cancel it.

I read it :)

And I agree! ATL, DC, and BH are my favorites in the franchise. I miss DC and they should give it another chance. They didn't need to cancel it. They could have retooled or even recast the show. I think people were just being dramatic with their hate for the show. To me, it was sophisticated and classy. They were also smart, educated, wealthy women with real money. None of them are having financial trouble currently, unlike the other Housewives. I wish they would give them another chance. The only reason Miami is coming back is because Andy Cohen has some weird love affair with Mama Elsa, which sucks because she and her daughter were boring!

I have a very, very, very small hope that DC will come back. With what's going on politically, it should come back. Also, with that marathon they did, was that a way of slowly bringing the show back? Miami had a marathon about a month or two ago.

They didn't give it a fair chance. :-(

Yay! Someone read my post! I'm so glad you agree with me. If you're ever on twitter and you follow the DC ladies, and you show support to them and Andy Cohen, there are rabid fans out there that really do want them to return. I have notice Michale does not have a twitter account. I'm not positive on that, but I have searched for her but she never popped up. But, that's neither here nor there...I just think she was a big reason the show was cancelled and it sort of put Bravo in a bad position with promoting sort of stupid situations involving where our President lives, if that makes any sense.

And I totally agree with you on the whole Andy loving Mama Elsa thing. I don't get her appeal. She's very scary to look at and I don't understand her when she speaks. I also think Marysol Patton, being a very sweet person from what I see on tv, she's also very boring. As are most of the Miami women. I just found the decision to cancel one series out of, what? 6 locations?? kind of stupid and frustrating. The DC show had ratings as high as BH. It just didn't make sense. I know ATL has big ratings, but as a viewer this season, I find it very boring and arbitrary. None of the women really get along or have anything in common and for the first time in all the series, you can tell the women are being FORCED to be together by Bravo. When things aren't organic anymore, which I found DC to be, it's not fun anymore. I think ATL needs some retooling while they're working on Miami...but what do I know?

I did think the marathon they aired sort of gave us hope that they were coming back, but then again, maybe they were just tired of running Tabatha and Patti Stanger.

I'm hoping they give them a second chance...

LOL at the tired of running Tabatha & MM. You are SO right!!!

Oh well. We'll see. Only time can tell!

And they need to recast ATL as well. No one gets along! It makes me mad that Nene seems to difficult to deal with. I say fire Nene, Kim, and Cynthia! Keep Sheree & Phaedra. Keep Kandi only if she has an interesting storyline.
