I'd say so. Just saw it and dare I say it, I think it's kinda better than Grey's Anatomy, even though I LOVE that show. Reason why I say that is that it's dramatic while not trying to be. It's not playing up the sex-McDreamy-McSteamy-McWhatevery angle. It shows doctors doing their jobs in an exciting way.

Not a huge fan of the soundtrack, but that's another matter.

Yes thats because its real reality television. I loved it!

This is the fifth show of this kind that Terence Wrong has produced as a summer series and every one has been a winner. He has a knack for picking the right people to follow in their daily routines and the editing is remarkable. I DO agree with you that the soundtrack for episode one was weak but we all know how subjective music can be. Still gets an "A" from me.

Cool, was "Hopkins" another one of the shows produced by Terence Wrong? I love these medical reality shows that come on every summer, they're so interesting to watch and you can learn from them too. BTW, questionablesellerwarnin, it appears you have a hater on your heels.

Ah, Hopkins! I was trying to remember the name of that one. :)

I recognized Terence Wrong's name because I remember chuckling at it in the opening credits of Hopkins the first time I saw it. I didn't watch Hopkins 24/7 and actually didn't know it existed. I've got to look it up!

I'm generally less interested in the personal lives of the employees (especially of the younger ones), though I naturally understand why they want to include some of that in the show.
So, I'm glad that the producers didn't mix up Grey's Anatomy and Boston Med/Hopkins, though some clearly do.

One can't compare Grey's Anatomy with Boston Med. Boston Med is, as one poster pointed out, a 'realty based' show. Grey's Anatomy is a drama.

I don't know about that. That nurse on BM sure is a floozy trying to be a character from the G.A.

reply

You don't see that stuff because Grey's is a written dramatic show - it's not real. As a medical person, I hate Grey's. I wouldn't want any of those people touching me.

I really enjoy this show. It's very interesting and can be heartbreaking at times. I lost it when the young man about to start college passed away. It broke me inside when they let his aunt into the room while he was still receiving CPR and knowing he was already dead.
