A Cat who Burgles?

Probably the best representation of my kind I've seen on screen in a pawfully long time. This movie is a big step forward in human/cat relations as it depicts the main character adhering to ridiculous human moral codes and conventions without violating his natural feline logic and survival instincts.

I was initially concerned that this film might depict the titular character as somehow subservient to his human cohort, a cat burglar (a title which not too subtly underlines the historical disrespect from humans towards us), but instead the two effectively function as equals.

In fact, the realistic portrayal of humans in this film as greedy and often delusional, blundering oafs, makes me wonder if the one of the higher ups in the scripting of this film wasn't actually a cat in disguise who had successfully infiltrated the French film industry. If so, meow (or in French, mieu), and I apologize for exposing you. Please bring your brilliant feline film insights to America!

Also, I'm hungry.
