Wonder Woman taking Kara to Paradise Island

I understand Wonder Woman's feelings that Kara needs to understand and control her powers but the way she goes about it was wrong. Yes, Kara caused destruction to the park but after WW and the other Amazons attacked. Superman should have said no just for the fact that Wonder Woman chose to attack them instead of speaking to Superman.

Also, if I were Superman I would have said no just for the fact that Wonder Woman pulled this stunt and was so arrogant about it.

I think Diana and Bruce were quite right in how they went about things. They had tried to reason with Clark that Kara needed to be trained to rein in her powers and he refused to listen so they were forced to push the matter. Imagine if that was some street thugs picking a fight with Kara and she reacted by trying to blow them to bits. The Amazons showed Clark that an untrained Kara was dangerous.

Good points but I still think it was totally unnessary.

No, I agree with the OP. Diana is a total b|tch for what she did. It was kidnapping. It was wrong. Simple as that. Kara should have just beat the crap out of her (and you know she could EASILY beat Diana to a pulp).

BWAHAHAHA!!!

You do know that Wonder Woman is the second strongest in the DC Universe right? Superman can only barely beat her and not without taking heavy damage.

reply

And Kara is indicated as possibly being stronger than Clark.

Just finished watching this again and this has always bothered me. Dianna was out of line in the way she approached Clark and stupid to attack them in public.

I aim to misbehave!

This part really got on my nerves. I wonder at what point did Diana think it was a good idea to attack Sups in the middle of a public park while he was in his civilian attire. Literally all she had to do was ask.

And yet Superman beat that ass when he finally stopped fooling around. Diana has nearly the physical capabilities of Superman while also having the warrior skills of an ancient goddess.

reply

It was silly for Wonder Woman to attack Kara and Superman in public and risk collateral damage.

reply

Absolutely!

reply

I get that they wanted to show Clark that Kara could be dangerous, but why do it in a public place, night time or not. It was irresponsible.

reply

Exactly! It served no purpose since WW caused the distruction of the park with her actions.

reply

Agree. I say it every time I watch this.

Jump anyone from out of sight and watch how wild and recklessly they fight back. Poor, poor tactics by the Amazonians.

reply

Yes it was and it does not prove whatever point WW was trying to make. She was behaving likke an arrogant jerk in this and again, Superman should have said no just for the fact that she pulled this stunt.

Mmochal23, your version would have been much better than what they did in the movie.
