Don't Wish for Things ....

they might come true.

Is it just me, or did Josh seem just a little disappointed with his newfound birth mother and half-sisters? Especially in comparison to his totally adorable middle-class adoptive parents? Was he perhaps wishing he hadn't found his rather low-class mother and her equally rather low-class daughters? I have to admit there was something decidedly tacky about his mom.

I think meeting his birth mother for the first time really helped him to see (with great clarity) what a gift his adoptive parents have given him. Unbounding love since he was a newborn and a lovely upbringing in a house that, more or less, they have set up as a shrine to their much-loved son.

I wonder how often he will see his birth mother and whether he will ever contact his birth father.
