Since imdb isn't up on the new title and new dedicated page for the web series, I'll put this on here since it's more or less related.

This was pretty awesome imo. It's 100% adult with the f-bombs being dropped. Since it's a series, each episode ends in a cliffhanger. So the next episode will be better and hopefully will show how Kano comes to be as we know him as well as Jax. Definitely digging it so far. Gonna be interesting to see how they implement Sub-Zero's powers in this more realistic setting. Helping get me hyped for the game next week. Don't have the specific web address, but it's on this website - www.machinima.com (there, fixed, sorry. it's a weird spelled word)

You spelt the URL wrong.

It's 100% adult with the f-bombs being dropped.

The f-bombs dropped were forced, as a cheap way to seem mature.

Does anyone know how many episodes there are gonna be and what the schedule is? I'd like to know when the next episode is, is this a weekly thing? The website doesn't tell ya $h*t (which makes no sense if they want viewers).

It is supposed to be weekly, but still would be nice to know how many episodes. I guess I'll be subscribing then.

Thank you for answering my question. I figured it was about that many, just wanted to make sure. Just over 3 months until the whole thing is over. So about 2 hours and 40 minutes, that should be enough time to get the whole story explored. Looking forward to seeing how they deal with the supernatural elements when it comes to characters like Sub-Zero & Shang Tsung. Also looking forward to how they're gonna implement Kano & Jax's looks when they end up looking like their videogame counterparts. Hope they put this on dvd or something so that it can be watched all together. I wish they woulda been able to get this goin' earlier so that it woulda ended next Tuesday when the game comes out, it woulda been a great lead in and got people even more hyped for the games release.

Why is this so hard for Americans to pull off. It is a simple movie concept with no real depth to it. The only real depth that this game has ever had was when Jeff Rovin wrote the book; giving it ties to both mythical and real history. He did a great job pulling it off in my opinion. (Better than any of the movies) Anything less than Rated R and this movie will fail time and time again. What ever you do give up on the spandex. The last movie looked like it should have been a xx porn. The devils in the details people. The God of Thunder in this game/story was not white so get over it and cast appropriately. They just made a Thor movie so leave it alone.

Let me see a ninja running around in plain sight. What is wrong with that I wonder. Assassins are not know by the shadows for no good reason people. Why again is it so hard to make a movie like this when all of the elements are so simple to understand. Yet I believe that they use the writers from the Teletubbies to come up with half of this crap. If Van Damme can pull off two movies (Blood Sport, The Quest) with the same story line as this then I would hang my head in shame if I were the whole set from top to bottom of Mortal Kombat. Even Big Trouble in little China was more of a hit and had a guy that should have been Raiden in it. Or at least his actions were more realistic of a being with those types of power.

In order to make a great movie you have to have a vision and understanding of real vs unreal events. For who ever takes on this project in the future please know your history of man and have a vision for this movie not just a hunger for money. Fatalities are the emphasis of the death of another person. PG13 just will not do. Remember that it is people fighting for their lives. Make it as such. Yes in real life terms it would be a dark and emotional movie. No the movie does not have to be based on a tournament style of fighting. Base it on the lives of the fighters themselves and give them depth. You are going in the right direction with your ideas for Rebirth but are still not there yet.

It would be nice to walk away from a movie theater saying WOW THEY DID IT. Not What A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.
