I am not even going to get into who this girl was or why she was so abnormal. My question is how did she know he was from Nebraska and how did she know he went to college with out him telling her? Was there scenes missing from the netflix version of this movie?

shareI think either he had spoken with the girl before and had told her some of that which supports the theory that he was suffering psychotic breaks which kept him from remembering everything he was doing. Remember that they made a point to show her face and her confusion when he acted coldly towards her on the street.
Additionally, she made a point to say that hers was a "stalker" blog. So if that were the case and Danny were her latest victim, she would find ways to learn about him.

Guys, did you watch the movie from the beginning? He TELLS her he is from Nebraska and that he went to college (majoring in Semiotics). There are many, many plot holes in this movies but her basic knowledge of him is not one of them.
I just watched the Netflix version, & unless it's like a few other posters said with that version being cut for time, Danny does not mention it prior to her talking about it.
He does say that he "majored in Semiotics," but that was only after she said something along the lines of "what's a college graduate doing working in housewares?" So how did she know he was a college graduate before he said that he "majored in Semiotics?"
