Do you mean when Joe was talking about the exterminator? He said the exterminator would clear the building like a Burmese python. I think he just meant the exterminator was good at his job. :)
Not sure how the hole got there. We see Danny find the hole, but we later discover that Danny is having paranoid delusions and hallucinations, and is doing things he doesn't remember doing, so he could have made the hole.

Hi thanx 4 replying! I think i was distract and i understood that the doorman was talking about himself as a "silent snake" so i was confused.(like he was some kinda killer)..now i got it
About the wall i think yes u r right anyway this movie is kinda strange cuz nobody still can realize why the hell the doorman was covering all that stuff (or maybe also this was some kind of imagination...) who knows?
